If you’re looking for some family fun this weekend, be sure to stop by the Kids Zone at the Summer Harvest Festival on Saturday, August 3rd. Situated at the W VS DB campus, the Kids Zone promises a day packed with exciting and FREE activities for kids of all ages.
From a water slide and Bouncy House to pony cart rides and barrel train rides, there is no shortage of entertainment here. The Kids Zone will also be celebrating Smokey the Bear's 80th Birthday and welcoming Dare the Lion, ensuring a memorable experience for all. Weather permitting, there will be a range of attractions including a petting zoo, police car, firetruck, monster truck, and race car.
Visitors can take part in various activities such as yard games, obstacle courses, story telling, rock painting, and Native American tribal games, while also capturing special moments by taking pictures with iconic vehicles like the police car, monster truck, school bus, ambulance, and race car.
The Cool Kids Zone will be open from 10 AM to 4 PM, and posted event schedules will keep everyone informed about the day's happenings. While some activities may have a fee, water and drinks will be provided throughout the day. Additionally, the State Police will be offering fingerprinting services while Dare Lion delivers an important message about avoiding drugs.
Activities included are pony rides, barrel train rides, an escape room challenge, petting zoo, inflatable waterslide, bounce houses, inflatable obstacle course, yard games, and much more.
